Belgium
Living in the shadow of their neighbours from Holland we have Belgium. The last few years we all hear that they have a great team with lots of talented young players. With this selection they missed the World Cup in South-Africa, but now they got a new chance. Players like Jan Vertonghen, Vincent Kompany, Eden Hazard and Daniel van Buyten this is their time to shine.
A big battle between Belgium and Turkey is going on for the second place in Group A behind unbeaten Germany. Belgium got 11 points after seven matches, one more then Turkey but they also played one extra match. In June they played against each other and it ended in 1-1. Belgium has to get some points in the last three matches against Azerbaijan (away), Kazakhstan (home) and Germany (away) or else they are going to miss out on another big event.
If you want to bet on Belgium to win Euro2012 you’ll get 100 against 1 for your money. The odds to become second behind Germany in Group A are 3.60 to 1.
